Staff

Kristoffer Andersen – New postdoc
On 1 March, Kristoffer started as a postdoc at Geoscience. In October 2013 he defended  an experimental PhD in particle physics at AU, and is now employed here to implement a so-called neural network, which is to be used in the analysis of SkyTEM data. One can with such a network automatically find and remove erroneous measurements in the SkyTEM data, which will simplify the data analysis significantly.  Kristoffer’s office is located in building 1120.

Examination

Examination timetables
Timetables for examination period Q3 (spring) are now available on the students subject portal.
Please inform Tina Veirup (tina.veirup@science.au.dk) which rooms you have booked for oral examinations, so she can add this information on the web.

Free e-book

Each month, Aarhus University Press offers a Danish and an English free e-book.
This month’s  e-book is "Santorini" by Walter L. Friedrich, which you are free to download in PDF-format from the publisher's homepage.

Avoid avoiding

Mutual support among colleagues is important these days. The ongoing process is difficult for all of us, both those who must leave us and those who remain. Whether management or employees, we all have to deal with the situation by talking, listening and supporting each other. Ignoring is the worst thing to do – so AVOID AVOIDING!
