Laura Levy,  postdoc
Laura is a new postdoc working with Nicolaj Larsen in the Department of Geoscience. She is originally from Boston, Massachusetts in the U.S. and just got her PhD at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She uses 10Be dating and lake sediment cores to reconstruct fluctuations of the Greenland Ice Sheet and local glaciers there.

Trine Schmidt, laboratory technician
"I'm 31 years old and live with my boyfriend, Bjarke, in Hasselager in the neighbourhood of Aarhus.  Having worked as a teacher for a few years, I graduated as a laboratory technician from Aarhus Business Academy in the summer of 2013. I spent the final training period at AU, Bioscience, and later had a couple of temporary jobs there. I am happy to be back at the university and look forward to working with e.g. the core scanner and, of course, being a part of Geoscience staff. "

Information from cleaning staff

In future your trash bin will not be emptied by the cleaning staff. It is now up to you when you will empty the trash bin and the box for wasted paper at the nearest trash/paper box station.
If questions, please contact Rikke Thorsdatter Holtet (rth@iha.dk) or Maria Svendstrup Harder (msh@science.au.dk).

Easier guest access to the wireless network
All employees can now create guest logins for the wireless network, AUWLAN. Login to mit.au.dk and go to Grant access to network. Here you will find detailed manuals to how you do.
