Alarms

Warning Labels
Following previous information about too many alarms in Geoscience buildings, and to remind everybody in the buildings that from 6 p.m. till 7 a.m. and in weekends and on holidays, we have to think twice before opening doors and windows, a number of warning labels have been put on all exterior doors, all windows in the ground floor and fire doors. We hope they will help prevent many of the actions triggering the alarms.
See illustrations and explanations to the labels on staff homepages: http://geo.medarbejdere.au.dk/en/bygninger/

IT

A variety of IT services will be unavailable on 18 and 19 April 2015
AU’s IT systems and electrical installations are due for a check-up again. This is called a “service window”, and the next one will take place on the weekend of 18 and 19 April 2015. During this period, a variety of IT systems will be out of service on both days.

Problems with the supply of PC equipment
From Søren Christensen, AU IT, we received information about general delays in the supply of PCs, both stationary and portable. IT support staff follow up regularly, but experience that their reminders actually do not help. Suppliers refer to problems in the "production".
Consequently, this means that the expected delivery times cannot be met. In spite of the problems it may cause you, PLEASE DO NOT SEND REMINDERS to Helpdesk or others - they already do what they can.

AU Library

Returning books to the library
If you have books to be returned to the library in Ny Munkegade, please use the new pre-printed labels on the internal envelopes. You find the labels on a shelf next to the envelopes.
