VAT number?
Foreign cooperation partners often ask for a so-called VAT number, which corresponds to the Danish CVR-number.
Since our CVR number is 3119103, you state our VAT number as DK-3119103.

Buildings

Access cards - new procedure for guest cards
We are no longer allowed to have open guest cards, meaning we cannot give our guests a card with immediate access.
The secretariat holds a number of non-coded guest cards which can be opened only after we have contacted "Bygningsservice" with information of name of guest og length of opening period (max. 6 months).
So, please contact the secretariat/Grethe in due time.

AU Library

Changes in registration of permanent loans to researchers

Information from Morten Hjorth Gad:
At AU library we are in a process of changing the way we register permanent loans.  In future they will be registered as loans to the individual researcher and consequently appear in your personal library profile. It means that others cannot reserve these books, but also that the system automatically requires a return date. I register these loans for a period of three years.
For you as library user, it means nothing, except that the books are now listed in your personal library profile under "my loan" and that after three years you will receive an email about return, and at that time, you just write to me if you want the loan to continue.
If you have any questions, please fee free to write to mhg@au.dk, or consult me in the partners office (1672-121) where I am on Mondays at 8:30 - 12:00.
