Anniversary

We celebrate Professor Marit-Solveig Seidenkrantz' 25th anniversary at Aarhus University on Friday, March 29th.

Join the celebrations in the entance hall of Geoscience at 14.00.

Refreshments will be served.

The Danish Geology Prize 2018

Professor Marit-Solveig Seidenkrantz receives the Danish Geology Prize 2018 for her contribution to the Palaeoclimate research.

The prize is awarded once a year by The Geological Society of Denmark.

Villum fonden

Postdoc Stergios Misios has received 1,9 million DKK from VILLUM FONDEN to study what will happen if the Earth was hit by a gigantic solar storm.

New employees

Runhai Feng graduated from the Delft University of Technology with a PhD degree. He is specialised in Reservoir Characterisation, geological prior information and uncertainty quantification. Together with Niels Balling, he is going to work on the geothermal project in order to quantify the subsurface reservoirs in terms of different reservoir parameters such as lithology, porosity, permeability, etc.
