Working Hours

Overtime and extra work

Full-time employees currently work 37 hours per week. Flexible working hours are possible, but we have no flextime scheme. However, as a rule, excess time must be kept at max. 37 hours, deficit at 10 hours, unless otherwise agreed with your nearest superior. Excess hours are either overtime or extra work.

How to distinguish between overtime and extra work?

Overtime
Must always be imposed by and agreed with your superior in writing prior to the beginning of the work.

Extra work
Typically your own choice – to finish a job in progress which cannot be postponed until the following day.

Time off
If you want to take off more than 37 hours, it must be agreed with your nearest superior taking into account the general workflow.
